Meet Randi Kobielnik of SAHM’s Crazy Life.
We asked Randi some questions, and here is what she has to say!
Tell us a little bit about yourself.
I am a mom, wife, daughter, granddaughter, great-granddaughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin, and friend. I have just entered the era of my 30’s and am loving it! I had deemed myself “Benjamin Button” since I am a walking medical case study and have decided that I will be my healthiest later in life. I won’t bore you with all of my aliments but the most recent and debilitating disease I am living with is “Idiopathic GastroParesis”.
Now most if not all of you are saying what the h*#& is that. Well, in short, it is a motility issue in my stomach. I have a pretty severe case which has caused me to need feeding tubes and a gastric pacemaker. If you know me, you know that I have chosen to live my life to the fullest I can and try not to let my aliments control my life. I wake up every day (that alone I believe is worth celebrating), put a smile on my face and live it hour by hour!
I spend my days with my amazing son who makes life worth living and my remarkable husband who has stood at my side through EVERYTHING! Sorry, ladies, he is taken.
My favorite song quote (which is a motto I believe we should all live by) is: “Someday, I hope you get the chance, To live like you were dyin’.” – Tim McGraw
What is your blog about?
LIFE. We write reviews/giveaways, food, local happenings, events, frugal living, gardening, and all of life’s crazy moments.
Is there a story behind your blog name?
Yes. When I decided I was going to start blogging, I realized I needed a name for it. I pondered for about a week about what I thought it should be, and once I said Stay at Home Mom’s Crazy Life, I knew that was it! I couldn’t wrap up my life any better than that.
What is your favorite social network and why?
Facebook only because most of my family is on there.
When you were a little girl, what did you want to be when you grew up?
A brain surgeon! Secretly I still do.
What would be your dream brand to work with?
My dream brand would have to be Michael Kors! LOVE HIM!
What is your favorite indulgence?
My favorite indulgence is definitely Cheesecake Factory’s Laura’s Fudge Cake! It is heaven on a plate. Although eating it on the beach of Los Cabos wouldn’t hurt either.
